Updated Dates: On November 24th and 25th, a geotechnical field exploration will be conducted on the Glenview Elementary campus. In this process, subsurface conditions at the site will be evaluated by drilling a minimum of six exploratory test borings (see this campus map for approximate boring locations (Exhibit A Drilling Locations). The drilling must occur while students are not in school to ensure student safety. We apologize in advance that this necessary step may be loud for nearby neighbors.

The geotechnical exploration will include a geological hazards assessment, field exploration, and preparation of a combined geotechnical and a geological hazards report in general conformance with the requirements of the Division of State Architect Office (DSA) and California Geological Survey (CGS) as indicated in CGS Note 48 (revised October 2013). The number of borings has been determined to comply with DSA requirements.
